ABOUT THE ARTIST
Shana Moulton was born in Oakhurst, California and is a Brooklyn-based video, installation, and performance artist. She earned her BFA at University of California, Berkeley, her MFA at Carnegie Mellon University and has participated in several residencies including De Ateliers; Amsterdam, Skowhegan, LMCC and Harvestworks. Solo exhibitions include: Art in General and Broadway 1602, New York; The Wexner Center for the Arts; Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Zurich; The Bluecoat, Liverpool; Bielefelder Kunstverein, Bielefeld. Moulton’s work has been reviewed in the Village Voice, Artforum, the Brooklyn Rail, the New York Times, Artnet Magazine, and Flash Art and is a featured artist in Art21's new Documentary series, New York Close-Up.
